Power of Myths

I believe all sacred texts are myths in the literal sense of the word.

A traditional, typically ancient story dealing with supernatural beings, ancestors, or heroes that serves as a fundamental type in the worldview of a people, as by explaining aspects of the natural world or delineating the psychology, customs, or ideals of society
This does not mean they are false, made-up or fiction.
A myth is like a legend in being possibly historical and certainly unverifiable, but its chief distinction is that it claims to explain or account for some natural phenomenon or religious or other human convention or institution.
